boys and girls (and real estate investors) — it’s that time of year again–Christmas –when the holiday spirit is in the air.

One of the girls we sponsored is now in college and still considers us her family.

We are up to 30 units now, so even a $20 gift card plus travel and time OR shipping is $650 plus.Cards alone with stamps is not anywhere near as expensive, maybe $50 - but the time investment should be considered.We have been pondering the benefits of such actions, other than making us feel good.In line with the thinking of some others who have already posted - we spent almost $100k this year in upgrades to our properties: roofs, steps, porches, total rehabs, outside painting, new entry doors, new heating systems (9 units), new trash cans.

Here's something to ponder: Rent control.We've certainly already seen it in the socialist states.

Radical is right.It is an interesting enough idea to sit under a big oak tree and ponder on a spring day while sipping from a jug of wine.

I am married with a 2 year old little girl, I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, out doors, games, movies, music, etc.
