I also won't rent to people with words tattooed on their fingers (one guy had K I L L tattooed on his fingers) or people with tattooes on their face.

I am afraid of what will happen is the market slows down in terms of rentals in my area and me having 2 homes that need to be rented out and vacant.. but fingers crossed that that doesnt happen.

I have educated myself quite well on the subject of Tax Deed Sales, and now I'm tired of standing by and seeing these amazing deals slip right between my fingers because I didn't have the cash to purchase the property myself.

:PSeriously though, a knowledgeable agent who understands the market thoroughly, has their finger on the pulse of what's happening in your community, and takes their job seriously will help a TON of people and be an asset to the community.

However, I take your cautionary notes to heart (& cross my fingers this first project will make me money).
