Goes well with white subway tiles or porcelain tiles that look like marble.And I believe this is Navajo whiteFor our rentals where we need a tan look, we use Behr "Pita"Somewhere on BP is a good post on all the different paint types and ranges from the companies.Behr from Home Depot is probably the most widely available and if you register to become a pro with home depot, they send you additional discounts and your local REIA may have a program with HD for even further discounts.Note: Not sure how to rotate the image via the BP post editor.

We identified the little things that would make a big difference: hardware would need to be changed out, bathrooms would need to be recaulked, cracked porcelain replaced, old ceiling fans, outlets, and switches all swapped out with new.

In a few of our historic homes we refinished the hardwood floors in the living room, hallway, and bedrooms and keep those original.For tubs and surrounds, we prefer a porcelain or ceramic covered steel tubs or fiberglass.

{Un}fortunately, there are enough landlords in our area who think students should live in derelict homes and pay top dollar for the privilege, that we have little problem standing out.As example, here is a washroom we re-did in our rooming house 18-month ago:The tub has an acrylic 3-piece surround, while the floor is porcelain tile (scored a great price on ends) and the vanity is real wood (expresso finish) with a granite top.

Did the inspection yesterday, there are a lot of deferred maintenance, like the bath tub porcelain chipped off, tiles falling off the wall, carpets and vinyl floors in bad shape, HVAC units outside part got rustic, etc. the main structure and roof, Windows are in ok shape.
