There are tons of threads here on BiggerPockets where you have a new investor bashing a property manager, seller or turnkey guy and then when the experienced investors chime in it becomes very clear that the new investor wasn't telling the whole story and there typically wasn't any wrongdoing by the property manager, seller, turnkey guy or what have you.

I would connect with an experienced loan broker who can help evaluate these options for you.

Since I am new to the town, I wanted to seek advice from experienced investors out there.

Our team buys the properties and converts them and manages them so it has been a great learning experience seeing all three phases from taking down a project, renovating the building then managing the lease up.

My main hope from being a part of this group is to learn from investors or syndicators that are more experienced than I am.
