I'm 34 and have been on ssdi for 7 years, I was a working Professional until I was diagnosed about 8 years ago, Likewise my wife is a Nurse, and 29 but she's been fighting cushing's disease for 3 years now, and her doctor's don't give her good odds. she was collecting her works long term disability insurance, but they cut that off less than a month ago.

I have a rare disease right now and although I own my business and do well, I pay $6500/mo out of pocket right now for medications and after I do my transplant in the next 1-2 years, I will need to pay 11-15k/mo I was told out of pocket....dont even ask me why medicare wont cover fully a taxpayer who paid his whole life but it is what it is.

Liberal Arts education with a B.A. in Anthropology from the Colorado College, with a focus on Medical Anthropology... understanding health, illness and disease from cross-cultural perspectives.I later found that education dove tailed nicely for my work as a Manager of Accessibility Services at a major medical center.

As for people having fear of speaking, that's just crazy (oh saying that I could be sued for hate speech against people that might possibly read this and have mental illness- and yes I know mental illness is a very serious disease and have great compassion for those that have it) Please people, don't give into that type of fear.

Sorry to hear that and Best of luck to your partner hope she can stay strong,I have also been thinking doing some donating with cancer myself because when I was younger I was almsot a ducted but luckily a ran to a neighborhoods house and it happend to by this lady who helped me get away and call the cops I was like 6 and i was on the news and everything and that  lady became a long family friend now and  was diagnosis  with cancer and has been battling cancer for a very long time and keeps staying strong and it would be nice to really give back to her and yes very terrible disease

Not an expert but generally your dog has been vaccinated against certain diseases.Bats create Guano and rats or mice carry plenty of diseases so in my mind that would be the difference.These types of animals carry all kinds of illnesses that is dangerous to the public.
