A way to determine this is to get a feel for local occupancy rates - PCB is a big tourist destination, but there's also a ton of STRs already there, so see if you can get a feel for a typical occupancy rate.  

On the other hand, Cuenca is a really peaceful city and it is known as a destination for foreign people to retire since the life cost there is really cheap, even cheaper than Guayaquil.I am learning about real estate and if you have some information about how to invest in RE here in Ecuador that you can share, I will be really grateful.

Her home is in a VERY good location next to the best elementary school in the area, next to (but not too close to) a major highway that goes straight into Destin (major tourist/shopping beach town), and on a half-acre lot.
