I enjoyed reading about your big goals for the future - it's inspiring!

My background is in ecological design, which you can find out more about in my profile, but in short it means I design and help create abundant edible landscapes that not only grow healthy food, but also enhance the ecology by purifying water, providing habitat for wildlife, and actually sequestering Carbon dioxide from the atmosphere in soil and plants.I have much gratitude to the creators of this space for creating something that is truly inspiring and brings people together.

Get data on insurance claims, flooding, etc.My personal view is that leadership within a city/municipality needs to have more of a 'we all rise together' kind of mentality. 

The different opinions and experiences, whether positive or negative, are really inspiring and help me a lot to take the first concrete steps in the real estate industry.

If a tenant prepaid a year in advance and the PM passed along all the rent to you at the beginning, they'd have to bill & collect money from YOU to do necessary repairs to the unit during the year, they are not going to do that.As for the weed issue, most people I know smoke weed in some capacity these days, and I'd much rather have a weed smoker in my units than a cigarette smoker.

It has inspired me to invest in more real estate and take better control of my finances overall.  

It's been a huge source of education and inspiration for me and my husband on our REI  journey.As to next steps, I would recommend finding a real estate agent that you trust, and also start talking to lenders (banks, mortgage brokers, credit unions, etc.)
