Good idea on calling the inspector's office anonymously to get a sense for where the line is. 

The primary issue that I see is that you will need an anonymous Trustee for the Land Trust.

I did this to give some anonymity and lawsuit protection (I know not 100%, but a lot more than a traditional LLC in the state I reside).

You pay to set them up, pay extra to file your tax return, etc...and most people probably don't maintain properly.  90% of the people don't set them up correctly to maintain anonymity so nothing gained there either.   

One thing to keep in mind is that in certain situations this can hinder your title insurance and if anything ever came back later on about the title you may not be protected.Last, there have also been some good points made about the anonymity aspect that can be provided with a business structure setup.

You can talk to the County Clerk for instructions, probably costs $10 and a little of your time.The value of an LLC is legit, but the need for one is dramatically exaggerated, particularly on BiggerPockets.An LLC is useful for two things: anonymity and legal protection.

Also wondering what company you recommend for opening up LPs/LLCs with anonymity. 

I would like to form an LLC and put all my NV rental properties in the LLC this year (for many reasons such as liability protection by forming the LLC,  legal advantage such as charging order protection, and lastly the anonymity).
