I am assuming you do not have a car, this would be much higher with an auto payment and insurance, can be lower obv.Any other outstanding bills - revolving credit line payments, misc, etc. - $200Utilities - $400Total Monthly Spend: $8400Now I didn't plan the math this way but it worked out to be exactly about what a 200k earner would bring home, post tax, each month - which effectively means this theoretical person is living paycheck to paycheck.

From that profit, I then have operating costs like taxes, insurance, cell phone, auto, marketing, and other misc overhead and as Greg stated, this is a low ratio of expenses assuming one operates like Greg suggested as do I.I would like to know what @Phil Long is hoping to accomplish with this question and calculations, perhaps that would help us understand and get him the answers he is looking for.
