As to the ethical side again, you're saying I suppose that you don't treat people the same, you base how you treat them based on your ease of communicating with them, so, you have no issue with not renting to a stroke victim who has difficulty in speaking but is still self reliant or an accident victim who can't speak due to an injury.

I agree with others,it's a rental property,not a family home.You should be tailoring your advertising to Landlords only and be willing to eat a loss if you can't break even at this point.You could also refinance it to a rental loan and rent it out yourself.I know exactly how you feel.I have my own "albatross" hanging around my neck as well.
