It was amazing to be in a room full of hundreds of early 20's to 30-somethings each making hundreds of thousands of dollars/yr plus stock options, walking out onto a grassy rooftop deck overlooking San Francisco, and watching a beer pong game lol A lot of them are renting in towers nearby for $4-5K/mo for 2br.

I'm also looking at a larger home in East Warren as a possibility which has a few nice features (basement, deck, over 1/2 acre, solar panels, extra bedroom), but the higher price is a concern if I can't get tenants....Thanks for the feedback!

Condition - House is solid - Carpets need ripped out and tile put in to buy and hold - back porch/deck needs some attention.About 4k in cleanup and repair costs.Area rental numbers for similar houses:3/2 - 700 about half mile away2/1 - 625 about a half mile away3/2 - 725 same distance2/1 - 600 same distanceAll currently rented so those numbers should be pretty accurate.

No fences to have to upkeep, a basic deck on the back of them, all concrete stained floors, wooden cabin looking walls so no Sheetrock or paint to be done.
