You can do LLCs or you can do an umbrella policy... it really depends on how many properties you have.

They also didn't have an umbrella (another wealth coverage) (I bought one the next day).To date she hasn't had a suit come her way however she could get sued as many as 5 years after this event.

Please be aware that the information you find on the internet is worth exactly what you pay for it.The only reason you would setup a LLC under the umbrella of a Solo 401k is if the SoloK was significant in size and holds a fair amount of both risk and non-risk assets.

Unless your equity in the property is exceeding several hundred thousand you may find that its not worth it and a simple umbrella insurance policy is the better option for you.
