In judicial states, you have to go through an expensive court procedure and it might take a year or more. 

Keep trying even if I'm the one not following "normal" procedures in my area.

So, the answer to your concern depends on (1) specific language in the purchase contract (2) state law of the state the property is located in (3) the type of entity you’re dealing with as “title company” and their policies and procedures.  

Go have permanent birth control procedure done for yourself and your 3 and 5 year old kids.  

Create procedures to nip problems in the bud as quickly as the law allows, not six months later.

Cash only at the front of the room 1-2 minutes after you win was the procedure when I've been there.
