We went in and there she was, original hardwood floors refinished, a renovated kitchen, deck, new paint, updated appliances and best of all a tenant already in place.

Hello :) My husband Jim is a contractor, has his own small business (remodels, custom decks/fences, basements) , and I work full time for a city.

But it has a new furnace, good foundation, nice layout, a deck out back, a nice 2.5 car garage, fenced in yard and shed.She has already moved out and is just going back there to get rid of the rest of the stuff. 

Open floor plan, roof top deck, loft, office.

In one of those gaps, the builder put the deck on the wrong side of the house - A true story.  

Any value I could add (addition of a driveway or rear deck for upstairs unit) would likely not raise the value much higher than the cost to complete each project.

You can extrapolate this out with cabinets, flooring, fireplace upgrades, a deck in the back, etc.
