More importantly, how will you AVOID being scammed on something that is NOT a deal?

You can NOT use zip codes or someone will scam you.

Has anyone here used a VA company?My husband commented on a post ( congratulations) to someone who did their first wholesale deal ( or something along those lines) anyway this woman reached out and started telling him...

I'm also aware of self-leveling compound, but I believe that may be just a bandaid solution to the cosmetic issue but will not address the risk of future settlement.I wanted to reach out to this community to see if anyone has any thoughts about whether push piers and house lifting would be a worthy investment or if it's just a total scam/rip off?

It's pretty obvious that this is a scam.  

Rent to own is basically impossible in our market, even if it was rent to own is kind of a scam imo.

@Arron PaulinoYou will need to get an attorney involved but honestly at this point you are probably just throwing money away as these scam artists are long gone and most likely so is the moneyYou can file complaints with your state banking - check nmls who to contact for the loan issueFor the contractor if they are licensed file a complaint with licensing board.

At least 2x per year, you should have eyes on the property to make sure your hirelings are doing their due diligence and not scamming you and skimming off the top. 

I've never hired anyone for a job, let alone a real estate assistant job, so I want to avoid pitfalls like Craigslist scams or something.

Guests are getting scammed by fake landlords "offering" properties they don't have and hosts are getting scammed by guests running the "my company will send you a check" scam.
