Someone who can check in on things to make sure that the cleaners do a good job, that the linen is fresh and washed, etc.

Closing costs, repairs and vacancies all add up and if you have multiple rentals it seems when something happens in one (eg fridge goes), another thing happens in another (eg washing machine). 

But somehow there was enough satisfaction in the good to wash away the struggle.
