If you aren't requiring background checks for someone simply because they aren't a citizen, then you shouldn't require them for people claiming to be citizens.Treat all people equally.

Many people have gotten themselves into a tremendous trouble for publicly posting about "good" and "bad" neighborhoods.

It's cause people push where the simplest dollar in front of them shows.

On average, they are all just people.  

And, for those people who have more time than money, they can put in sweat equity into directly owned real estate.

I've seen too many people try to force a tax deduction or strategy but end up putting themselves in a worse position by picking a strategy that doesn't align with their goals.If you're done with real estate altogether there are a few recommendations.

You would be pleasantly surprised what you find and that people are willing to teach and help for little to nothing if you're willing to be humble and offer some value for their time.
