I'll typically budget $1-2K for that.These are just a few examples of the age related stuff you'll encounter, and as you do more houses in a particular area, you'll start to notice a lot of issues that keep popping up in houses of similar age.

However I find that those individuals/groups that I have encountered have a "team already in place". 

@Velasquez Lopez Juan Horacio we've got many out-of-country property owners we manage for.Have not encountered one yet that has been able to DIY manage from abroad.

LOL Started trying to find something there and got sticker shock. 

She works the Greater LA area, so there was some sticker shock for me (SC).

We would like to stay in the area if possible, but sticker shock is real and the bay area is not cheap.
