I keep the AC at 76 during the day I believe, and around 72 overnight.2) Some of the newer smart thermostats (e.g. the Nest) have the ability to set a pin that is required to adjust the temperature.

@Bret Weigel some people will leave the temperature high during the day, then get home and crank it down 10 degrees and expect it to be instantly cool.
