Any money you’ve already paid is likely lost, but if you’re still in active communication with them it might be worth a visit to the police station to report that you’ve probably been scammed and see if they can work with you to get your money back.

Homeowner wants them out, just call the police and have them removed!

If it got egged again I might set up cameras or contact the police.

I am wondering what kind of polices you get on buildings like this. 

I'd start with validating it like you said with the police....there should be record of that address if it was used that way and busted.

I cannot count on the police or the muni or the courts to force any one else to "do the right thing"Because I honor my word, I am less likely to make commitments.

You know when there is a police officer manning the store, things are not good and it's an Aldi.  

My buddy's wife got possession of the house after the police were done - had to do some painting, replace carpet as the ex bf was nasty - don't think there was much remediation needed where the victim died other than new carpet as it wasn't a "messy" death and the corpse didn't sit there long.Anyways sorry for the gory details - but it was publicized on local media - address wasn't highly publicized however I guarantee every neighbor around knew what happened.
