We have found the best way to keep things running smoothly is to have a designated "Den Mother" in the house - in our case, my sister-n-law.4) You will be carrying all the utilities; as such, it is in your best interest to invest in programmable thermostats (with a lock-out limits on max and min temperature settings); low-flow fixtures and LED lighting.  

They have one at my office, and it has vents on the sides of course so it can read temperature, and they take bent paper clips to push the little levers when they get cold.

I've got all sorts of off the wall skills (wood working, tile, welding, auto repair, computer/network, electrical, ...etc), which I know is going to be my greatest strength while also causing me to struggle with hiring help.My wife and I bought for 160 in north Austin, and sold for 260 after doing some serious bathroom/bedroom/kitchen remodels.  

Obviously, that costs me money, too.I'm wondering if anyone knows of a source for a fixed temperature thermostat.  

I tried TSP as well as Naval Jelly, letting them sit for the appropriate time in the recommended application temperature range.

(Judd) Absolutely, I would be happy to get some extra work,  I'm currently a window cleaner for Fish Window Cleaning which is commission based and flexible scheduling, making it perfect for college but the temperatures just dropped below freezing and we usually slow down quite a bit during that time, if you have some work that would be great!

The changes in water saturation and temperature throughout the year makes the foundation heave and settle, if only by a fraction. 

They do pay for their own utilities, but my question is ; does keeping an HVAC at consistently hot or cold temperatures increase wear and tear?

Where as with an estimate the price does not fluctuate with the temperature,weather,health of the Contractor.  

Glue down using an adhesive is always a good floors though again I prefer an adhesive with a hard set and not a pressure sensitive that can be affected by temperature and other factors.
