You will usually have a chance to look at the property before putting down a deposit, but don't count on scheduling your own inspection.

Then they suddenly told me my taxable brokerage account doesn't count as reserves but they won't let me sell and move assets to a checking account because they won't be seasoned for 60 days.  

I didn't count them in inventory when I sold ;) Someday, when I get that $1m listing, I'll bust them out! 

The other sucky rule the city has is the minimum rental length is 7 days so whether you rent for 1 day or 7, it counts as 7. 

In order to count rental income from the departing residence to qualify for the new FHA mortgage, the new home has to be 100+ miles away and you must have 25% in the departing home. 

What this also did ( since post count to many is a reflection of experience and skill set in the space)So other members would get a false sense of these posters bona fides.

Building small units in small counts is expensive development.  

I wouldn’t count it out.
