Question is the other two roommates have suggested that they will clean her room ( mainly because she wants the room).

I smell weed in my house with 2 roommates, I know who it is. 

Some people stayed with family or got roommates, but ultimately no matter what happens to the economy, people need a place to live.

My tenants roommate moved out and he took another roommate and let him move in before the verbally agreed upon move in date.

Tell the HOA that it is owner occupied (me or my wife) and that the other person living there (the real tenant) is our room mate. 

Does anyone have any advice, fail or success stories in this area to share regarding living with roommates? 

Why not rent and get some roommates to cover most of the rent...... then take the capital you do have and either save up or find somewhere else to invest it.Around me (expensive area) not all landlords are into properties for the same price... if you hunt down a good deal and act fast you can rent a nice place far cheaper than buying it.

It would produce a good cash flow if I rented it as a whole house rather than by bedroom.I'm tired of having roommates, but I'm not tired of having someone pay my mortgage.

So very similar to what you mentioned about buying a multiple bedroom place and either AirBnB'ing or getting some roommates.

(I'm a young single guy, and don't need a 3 bedroom apt to myself, so I already have two interested roommates)In this way property management will be on me.
