I have recently started going to events and realized that I do enjoy talking to people and building relationships but I don't know if im interested in being a capital raiser.My overall goal is to own a big portfolio whether if its through acquiring or developing.

Realize you have probably just made a lot of money in the stock market.Rental properties.  

Several doctors and lawyers and other smart people literally crying on the phone to me as they realized their whole retirement plan was done and they need to work into their 70’s if they wanted to retire.

One suggested paying a GC a couple hundred for an estimate which sounds good until you realize you might do this 10-15 times before you buy a deal then you are spending thousands on estimates!

I realize there might be somebody that comes on this thread that’s trying to pretend like finding all the deals you want is really easy just pay them the right fee and they’ll set you right up.

Or better yet, air which is just silence.I think once people realize it's not the work you do when others are looking, but the work you do when alone without needing others to know or validate you they'll go a lot, lot farther.
