But here's what I can share:1) There is a ~$100k asset minimum (give or take) needed in your account in order to do this.2) This can't be with an electronic/self-managed brokerage account; it must be held with an investment professional3) Like a credit card or HELOC, there is a minimum monthly payment, but there is no fixed amount or term.4) The rate is variable, changing daily, but right now I am paying about 6.5% with the current interest rate environment.5) You cannot borrow against the full value of your portfolio, just a pre-determined percentage of it.

After the credit partner has been paid, the limited partner is generally paid next.The general partner is paid last and typically receives a larger share of the cash flows after the limited partner has received a predetermined rate of return.This is the structure we've used on our multifamily deals so far.

I was wondering if the people of BP that rent to college students either charge a predetermined rent (say, $1,000 per month) or do you charge per bed (say $300 per bed, per month for three beds OR $250 per bed, per month for four beds)?

So I do everything I can to minimize travel time, but the same principals really still apply locally.The first thing I do is see if the property and neighborhood fits my pre-determined parameters: how old is the property, type of roofs, high enough median income, low crime, no flood zone, good population growth, etc.

As for the deal part, I once help build a Backflow protector website, and in the process we used a "calculator company" to code on page calculators, with predetermined values, and values that became relative to other values when calculating sqft etc.

I would suggest working with an agent in the area to give you some ideas of what you will find, and then travel to view a predetermined amount of properties together with that agent (somewhere between three and four, so you see enough and can get a feel for the different areas in DC).

Their option is lost if they break the lease, or you transfer title for a predetermined amount upon successful completion of the lease agreement.

I am pretty sure that period of time could be predetermined in the form of of a pre-payment penalty or ballon payment laid out in the financing terms to ensure I was covered to pay of the underlying loan.
