Also where there are changes in regulations that may require lenders to change servicing agreements which affect who services your loan.I know that's a pain but as things change -- unfortunately, investors will be impacted by changes in the lending industry - and that includes LOAN SERVICING CHANGES.It’s a total cluster between the banks, their loan servicers and their loan servicer’s sub-servicers.

Through your local bank that you are using, are you reapplying for each new home for a seperate construction loan or are you setup as a credit line with them and just submit a new budget for each new home I do want to also add that my banker who is the VP of lending and branch manager has been banking me for 30 years..WE have been through all he ups and downs including the GFC were I got almost totally wiped out financially..

High rates are here for at least the medium-term (1-2 years), so deals will have to pencil in this current environment.You may also want to consider hard money for your lending, as they can often fund your construction with far fewer restrictions than a HomeStyle loan.

Typically speaking 20% down (80% LTV) is the bare minimum that commercial lending requires.  10% down is unheard of unless you are getting a great deal and negotiate some small seller financing in second position or getting an SBA Loan for acquisition where your business will occupy over 51% of.
