To do that I could cut a hole in the dry wall and turn it 90 degrees so people can use it from the hallway but there is a light switch for a nearby bathroom in the way so that would need to be moved into the bathroom as well.

You can't just go out and say you want to be a nurse you have to actually pay a college to get a degree 🤷‍♀️seems to me like it's common sense but unfortunately not for everybody.and lastly I guess sometimes people need many analogies but if you go to a convenience store versus going to Walmart we know it's going to be a lot more expensive at the convenience store because you're paying for convenience.

Even if you were positively cash flowing on multiple other properties, it makes no sense to invest more money into the negatively cash flowing property unless the ADU would improve the cash flow to such a degree that the property would be stable and capable of sustaining itself.
