I have not seen any "main stream" versions of this just back country engineering but it's a solid concept and works well.

At the end of the day its a great business anyway you set them up if your successful and we are blessed to live and work in a great country.

@Li Li, Since the 1031 exchange will allow you to move into any type of real estate anywhere in the country. 

So bottom line they got away with it and are living in a beautiful safe clean country.
