Did you get a line item list of what was done or did he just tell you this is what you owe boss get out that checkbook.I hope you get this worked out to a comfortable price because that's an awful big number to just jump up and bite your checkbook - that's an awful lot of Mc'Donald's cheeseburgers.

Yes, he could do a purchase contract prior to viewing but I would never ask a client to do this because I wouldn't be comfortable with it myself.

If you are buying in the bay area, you need to be comfortable with the property only appreciating unless you are open to putting down 50-70% down on the property.
