No pressure here but wanted to be able to offer a hand since I'm local to Lane County.

Well, I heard about this tactic, and was so excited to try it out until I tried looking through Jackson County’s public records portal here in Kansas City.

I generally rule out most single family homes as viable rentals, as prices are pretty high relative to rents, so aside from some downtown neighborhoods, typically you do not find large areas of single family rental neighborhoods (a median sale price on a 3 bed, 2 bath home so far this year in Dane County on MLS sales data is at $430k). 

I bought a small commercial property in LA County.

Jersey City is hot right now but like I tell my clients the majority of the time I can find them deals that make more sense in Essex County but that depends on the client and what their needs are along with their comfort level. 

My focus is on purchasing a single-family home to set up a lake house or cabin to own and self manage from my home in Bergen County, NJ.

Davidson and Sumner counties have been especially popular lately! 

To date, I have a small portfolio in the Rock County area.

He posted 2 fake listings in my county and never took my calls or replied my emails.
