My guess is yes, since the bonus depreciation (that ended in 2012) is just a government's way to stimulate business, so I should not be taking into consideration when it was placed in service.

I was hoping to gain some insight (and potentially build questions to ask) into what others have done in their dealings before meeting with the attorney.from what i've read on biggerpockets, most posts refer to using LLC's. which leads me to believe that structure may be the best. we're in virginia/north carolina, where there are no quirky rules around LLC/LPs (from what we know)thanks again
