Fortunately I had keys to the units or they would have broke the glass to gain entry.I had a Chineese restaurant that moved out of a unit and never returned their key.

The reason why I believe that is because when homes are vacant for an extended period of time, and the grass is very tall, typically the city will send someone over to mow the lawns and then forward the bill to property owner.

Alternatively, you can pull some information from county recorder, however that will typically be a situation that has escalated from administrative citation to a legal action far beyond tall weeds and broken windows.Few will ever venture beyond their first "no" from a clerk.

I cleaned it out and discovered that there was broken glass(looked like shards from a wine glass) as well as the plastic stickers that they put on new plates in the filter.
