Right now toying with the idea myself to use propstream for Multifamily.

Areas like these will see most of the money made over the long haul due to appreciation - so I wouldn't be too concerned about a few hundred bucks out of pocket as long as your personal finances are in order.

But over the long haul, for a portfolio of properties, it seems to work.Then you have to cover any debt service from the remaining half.If you self manage you can earn the PM's cut.  

You are going to have mortgage insurance for the life of the loan if this is the case, and that MI is not cheap...If you plan to hold this property for the long haul, odds are you will want to get rid of that mortgage insurance one way or another.

If you want a toy to hang out in and use when you want much like a boat you’ll be fine.
