There are many neighborhoods going through changes around the the Nashville urban core that are in close proximity to destinations like Geodis Park, Fifth + Broad, and the Nashville International Airport (BNA).

Seems to be a big network of members there I'm from big city NYC, (born and raised) and currently residing in metro Atlanta....and been to many other cities and guess what, nothing special in Atlanta....I'm looking at the map for new destination.

Partially just because it has been “discovered” resulting in more visits...and partly because they are working on a “Home Port” cruise ship port.  

I wouldn't say that FHA was your ONLY option, just that it seems most feasible in your situation.As for SD's multi market, it can definitely be an attractive destination for house hack.
