I wonder how if you filter with no checking account no rent to you.. how that would go.. or are you just one of the victims on their way to losing their checking account privileges.

Yes, the pandemic has compounded your problem, but the fact is, even if the pandemic had not happened, you still would have had a very hard time evicting in NYS, even for straightforward non-payment of rent.

People are scared, and don't have answers, and that compounds an already tense situation.

it's really just better to let them go.Can you ask them for a little higher rent for the "privilege" until they decide they want to sign another lease? 

If you compound that with falling everything (prices, employment, stock market) it can get ugly fast.

Nothing like compounding posting illegal signs with assault.You put up illegal signs and they get taken down.

Everything they said could be gotten from free seminars, FB group pages, books and local REI groups,  but they made it sound like they had privileged and secret info.
