I know they say don't mix family and business, but this was the best opportunity for us to get in the game so we jumped on it!

I think the old sales saying is true, it usually takes 6 to 8 touches to get a sale (or a customer).

I've been at the rental game for 15 or more years. 

There have been some complaints  from investors on the administration side  alleging: improper reporting of tax information, lack of updates on problem investments and  other customer service issues.  

What is your game plan to get started?

A few that  I am talking to right now are former customers (I am in construction and have lots of customers who are high net worth individuals AND have an established friendship/trusting relationship with.

I have a few questions as I am new to the game but I have a basic understanding through this great site and finishing the Ultimate Beginners Guide to Real Estate Investing and I wanted some feedback on my strategy if that is ok.

I found Bigger Pockets and knew I had to up my game. 

Definitely want to play the long game, I just really like the idea of getting started using this method as I don’t have a large amount of cash on hand 

Currently, the people that I have polled have went 80 20 against saying they will vet their own clients and that it would drive away more potential customers than bring them in.
