Im getting sick and tired of having the building/health dept ruin my deals.

I don't care about perceived extra cash flow if I have to work extra hard for it and it ruins my quality of life.

My advise to you is 1- don't ruin your credit. 

I believe those auctions should be reliable for providing comprehensive information on dangers of those type of sales, or they are simply in the business of ruining innocent people's life.

They're only your best tenants if they are not doing things to actively ruin the property such as building an avenue for termites into the house.

My rule of thumb is tenants will ruin anything they touch even when they have good intent.

Hope this doesn’t ruin your experience with them and things look better in the future.

Since I originally started with HomeVestors the "We Buy Ugly Houses" guys in Cleveland in 2012, and just expanded to Chicago area last year I was unfamiliar with the class action lawsuit against that chemical plant and the people who developed (allegedly) brain cancer in that area.Anyone have any more info on this or done a deal in that area?  

I've seen peoples' lives temporarily ruined by identity theft and do not want to fall victim to this man.As to the tenant who showed me the house, he was not "Rob."

Then at closing found out that the company that maintained the proprety stole the AC unit and stove ( i know it was them because they dragged it across the floor and ruined the carpet as well...).
