I’m all for preventing evictions during the pandemic and think the government needs to take responsibility to ensure that people are housed.  

I personally am waiting this out a bit until there is a bit more stability at least on the pandemic side. 

I purchased the first in 2019 but when the pandemic hit, I decided to wait and see the impact on the economy.

But it sat on the market because it was listed too high and we were in the middle of a pandemic and tourism to Costa Rica had lowered quite a bit.  

They are about to face a hot rental market with tough post-pandemic screening standards and if their prospective landlord is screening properly by reaching out to you, they will get a bad referral and have a tough time finding a place of choice and will be left with crappy locations where owners don't screen and take whatever they can get for residents.

Many buyers who acquired properties in ill-advised locations right after the pandemic during the STR gold rush, are either struggling now or have sold off already.

Seeing senior living fund seems to be recession proof, are your SLF investments affected by the pandemic at all?

The income in most of these units will cover the mortgage (in some cases more) until the Covid-19 Pandemic is over.

My Wife and I bought a one bedroom apartment in Florida during the pandemic and were able to get a 3.5% interest rate.

This is a pandemic driven recession which has impacted everything but not banks and housing yet.
