Overall, I am looking at: new roof, new drywall in about 50-70% of the project, insulation of attic, and external walls, new electric (with 4 new meters and wiring and outlets throughout), new plumbing, new hvac systems ( most likely ductless mini splits), new windows, redone flooring (stripping an d finishing oak floors), new kitchens, and new baths.

Control everything, own nothing" is all about insulation from liability.Ideally, BEFORE you begin your acquisitions, you'll set up a trust with someone you trust as the trustee (whose identity will be a matter of public record with respect to the trust) and you as the beneficiary (whose identity is protected).

Now, I haven't checked, but I think you can get a boat load of coverage, if they offer it, for $1400.AND, if you put your safe assets onto a FLP, you got that insulated as well.Good luck ya'll.

Read up on boat and RV storage a 20-25 x 45 or 50 brings a premium rent (no heat, insulated ceiling only) I believe these are classified S-1 (unheated storage).
