It isn't a good idea to remotely manage a side hustle cleaner.

The answer is it depends.It depends on the location and what might attract people to your property, amenities, competition, your purchase price, how well you take pictures and furnish the property, how active you are in promoting the property, having a good support staff (mainly excellent cleaners/s).

If they fail, hire a cleaner and pass the charge on to your renters.

If you really want to know what others would charge, call up 3 different contractors, cleaners, handymen and compare the 3, normally 1 is way off and the other 2 are close you can get a good idea of an amount to charge. 

We were hoping we can find a cleaner and/or a handyman that’s willing to be our rental manager. 

BUT we found that tracking all those accounts is crazy hard so we invested in software for a unified inbox, multi channel sync, owner and cleaner logins with specified access, multi calendar, an app for easy messaging, plus my favorite auto messaging. 

Having the cleaners and the trades and doing the scheduling and quality control. 

@Joshua FrankAs @Bruce Woodruff has stated, you need to field a cleaner offer than the others.

Setup some ring camera's on the outside, find a cleaner that does a great job and will keep an eye on the property for you, and a good handyman and you can do the job from anywhere!
