We are in the early stages of wedding planning along with her starting a new career so we have every excuses as why to not make this happen.

Like for example taking a long vacation trip whenever your want or changing career path without thinking about your financial conditions or starting off with your own business, not worrying much about investment options.Become Debt-free: Did you just lose your job or having sudden wedding plans or having a baby?

It seems to be a reacurring theme that people love to give back so I definitely need to do that more often.

With the type of growth we are seeing, there is usually still fair amount of corporate/contract travel, not to mention weddings and such. 

:Well, he's obviously not living with his fiance/wife ;-) Well at least the scumbag is traditional and not shacking up before the wedding.  :-)

Why does one want to be wealthy, To certain people it is less about the "me me me factor" but it's about helping those around you that can be a true driver to achieve success and find your true potential:For me, it's about being able to take care of my family, friends, and environment.

The one theme I tend to see...Never stop learning.

A common theme here is know what you are doing :) I've been in every spot but the number one, I still keep my 3br house even if we could upscale to larger(Let's me invest the extra instead). 

I suggest you do some basic internet searches as to the causes of the housing affordability crisis, it will include themes such as government policy, capitalism (who is often paying immigrants as cheaper labor), international unrest (which immigrants are often fleeing from), investors inflating prices, people looking for affordable housing not wanting to live where there actually is affordable housing), high interest rates, general inflation and more.
