To those mid-career with no plans to move jobs, might move away from the area, but honestly they tend to be the ones who have already have planted roots here, and likely more fearful of losing their jobs.

On a flip, I would think that the owner would prefer to install their own irrigation system after they decide what is getting planted where, so I would say skip it.
