Calling this behavior immoral is really rich!

Try this: Go to a local rent to own store or a mom and pop furniture store and ask them if they'd like to have their furniture displayed at an open house.

I know it is state specific for security deposit, but has anyone had luck deducting from the deposit for this kind of behavior?

So many people are searching for the magic formula, and it seems that what many of these seminars are selling is the hope that it's all real, rather than having to roll your sleeves up and build it one little bit at a time through hard work, discipline, patience, and careful choices.I'd say that a person who purchases homes with cash, or through sensible use of leverage with enough equity to balance risk/higher returns, is displaying those qualities and is far from "stupid and lazy"!!

I'm in Minnesota.I'm in the process of beefing up my existing lease with additional expectations of tenant behavior (such as not having other adults not on the lease living at the property).

I call out entitled behavior DIRECTLY and unequivocally and let these tenants know I don't play those games but they rarely are able to change their behavior so They get the old "We will not be renewing your lease."
