If it's newer you will be lucky and be able to just use the Orbital sander that has the 4 small orbital pads on it or even the larger single one like a floor buffer.My uncle refinishes floors for the investor he works for in Michigan and to date has not had to use the Big Belt sander/drum sander.My wife even helped when using the orbital sander.
