Actually I almost spit my coffee out this morning as there is a guru in the "pick what I am selling today space" who claims to make close to six figures a year in passive income and was saying they made their money from investing in notes - and I saw them make a post today that "this is the reason I no longer do notes" in another thread.

I've checked out some posts and some people say that although you can assume a mortgage, banks will look at your credit score and unfortunately as I already know, Canadian credit history doesn't follow me when I decide to buy a house in the USAnyone know the answer to this?

@Raj KandragulaRecommend exploring as many sources as possible to get referrals AND cross-reference them to get as much accurate information as possible.Check out NARPM.com, BP’s Property Manager Finder (BiggerPockets: The Real Estate Investing Social Network), etc.Also, encourage you to learn from the mistakes of others - by reading posts here on BiggerPockets about owners not having their expectations met by their current Property Management Company.
