They can even decide that you can't rent out your condo, or that you have to paint it hot pink with lime green trim, and there is nothing you can do about it.

Now I just have to trim the fat here, and cut this out over there, and save as much as I can, and scrimp and save, and cut out all the creature comforts and after like 10 years, I can retire!

We also use a white gloss finish for baseboards/trim/etc.

My trim carpentry is getting much better and tighter.

I trimmed out houses for a while, but when it comes to hvac, electrical etc.

@Brie Schmidt I agree with @Steve Vaughan theory of trimming the fat.

We bought our house this past December and did a decent size renovations (removing walls, coat closets, all new paint, hardwood floor throughout the house, painting trim).
