I have had several Colorado LLCs (single member LLCS with one single family residential rental per LLC, so very small-time) for a decade, and always file my periodic report so am in good standing with the Colorado Secretary of State, but have only just heard that I need to file a BOI report before the end of the year.

Doesn't matter if they have 3 kids or not, if they are late on rent, file notice and if they don't pay...start the eviction.Stick to the facts when you go in front of the judge and you should be fine.

In my experience, the turnaround time is fairly short and can be done in January/February and still leave enough time for your accountant to file taxes.
