The company managing our property as a vacation rental was unable to get the power turned on in our condo for months because we had to get the meter switched into our name with the electric company (which is much more difficult to do in CR than in the United States).

I have some upcoming repairs needed that outweigh the Homestead Exemption and plan to make my primary home a long term rental in the next 7 years but the repairs can’t wait.  

The plan is to acquire a tier 3 license.

On the other hand, self-education through books, podcasts, and free resources is cost-effective but requires discipline and a clear plan.

I have been following the Real Estate Investing industry for a while and just recently decided to put my focus into it and implement a plan I had in mind for years.So I went down to Puerto Vallarta I put together a team of local realtors, brokers, contractors, property managers and a lawyer. 

These 2 platforms don't focus on MTR but vacation rentals so using Furnished Finder is a better way to get those longer term folks.I have always been a bit concerned about the area's penchant for restrictions.

I only plan to manage these two from out of state until we're able to refinance our second home as we're losing money on this particular house for rent as we bought this home last year.
