Red flags include..I want to move in early....I want to do a long term lease...I will pay you in cash....I will pay a double security deposit...I will pay multiple months in advance.....These are big reds flags that applicants will use to sweeten the deal to cover for something else..... its the carrot to lure you into the trap.

@Kenneth Liz there is a lot of money to be made in section 8 in philly but the same risks are there.

@Mike Moe Yes -- and you should avoid the trap of getting it cleaned before they move out, even by a day.

Do schedule 40 PVC trap and waste piping use no hub couplings for easy removal.In general use the KISS system.

On a large scale, removal trapping is conducted using CO2 as an attractant to lure the biting midges to an insecticide-treated target where they are killed.

My point, that I was hoping to make much more succinctly, that while it's lamentable so many people fell into this trap, it's really fortunate that the news is finally coming out. 

I wanted to do multi family to start but I do not posses finance, past experience, nor a reliable partner(been looking hard) because any that I can be approved for myself again fall in section 8 housing.

Never know what you’re going to find when you open a wall in an old house. 99.9% of the time it’s tons of rat poop, mummified cats, opossums, rabbits birds and insects.

Constantly sweating and the insects/mosquitos/flies.

We noticed this because we asked for a rent increase and the letter gave the 2 bedroom voucher info.My understanding was that it was possible to get a tenant that was in section 8 out of a unit, if there was a disagreement on the rent increases.
