A majority of Active Duty Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Soldiers are someo f the most high quality people in our society.

One of my Soldiers was doing this in Hawaii.

I'm a currently deployed soldier who plans on using my VA loan to get a multi plex to return to.

Sometimes the taxes were gold, lumber, grain or livestock, other times land-holders provided manpower in exchange for the protection of their ownership interest (ie governors provided laborers for the pyramids, lords provided the king soldiers for wars). 

Because assignments seldom last longer than 2-3 years, turnover is substantially higher than the general population.  2) the Soldier and Sailor Relief Act allows members to break their leases in the event of a deployment or PCS, which basically negates the security an investor gets with one. 

Even during Vietnam war when bodies of soldiers were brought home in huge numbers, most of the people were not affected.

With their ships gone, the soldiers had no route of retreat.

I am considering trying to wholesale or fix and flip it as it's in what I think is a prime location for any business that caters to Soldiers.

I agree Ryan, I would have been using my VA long ago, but had always heard of too many horror stories of Soldiers (read: out of town landlord) with rental problems.

The great thing is you should always have tenants with the Army Base and steady income from the soldiers.
